Job making you too tired to workout afterwards…Try going Before work!
One of the biggest reasons (we’ll be nice and not call it an excuse here) that people stop exercising or “drop off” of their workout program is that they’re too tired after work. The “catch 22” in this is that you know exercising will increase your energy, you’re just too tired to get started! But…Did you know that people who work out in the morning (yes, there are people like that!) are much more likely to stick with their program?
Sure, getting up at 5:30 in the morning isn’t the most appealing thing to a large percentage of people, but once you do it and stick it out for a few weeks…it’s a habit! And that’s a good thing!! Now, you’ll actually have more energy during the day (your boss will love you) and when you’re done with work, you can go home and “veg out” without feeling guilty. Not bad!
So give it a try, set the ol’ alarm clock good and early and get the New Year off to a great start. It’s a great habit to get started on in the New Year!
