Here at O2 Fitness Clubs we often get asked “Why should I sign up for personal training?” While you may think your fitness routine is a well oiled machine, working with a trainer has many benefits such as, pushing yourself and your body to the next level, rehabbing an injury or even accomplishing something you didn’t know was possible. O2 Fitness Wake Forest member Lisa P explains why Personal Training worked for her in today’s Transformation story:
Hi, my name is Lisa. I joined O2 Fitness Wake Forest and signed up for training sessions with Travis in March of this year (2015). I had become quite out of shape after having 4 children. I also was born with a connective tissue disorder which limits my abilities to do normal everyday tasks and causes joint pain. It was getting to the point where I was seeing a pain specialist every month and taking several pain pills a day. I knew I needed a new solution.
After working with Travis for 3 months, not only have I stopped seeing the doctor for pain, but I can finally pick up and carry my 4 year old daughter. I haven’t been able to do that since she was 2! I rarely have to take any of my pain medications anymore. I can finally go up steps without difficulty, which had always been a struggle before. I can feel muscles in my body that I had forgotten existed. Even my husband can tell a noticeable difference!
All I can say is, I am so glad I got the training and help I needed. Thanks to Travis and O2 Fitness. You rock!
